| Description | Tree, about 26 m tall. DBH 35 cm white latex from the cambial zone. Bole somewhat fluted at the base. Wood soft to mediumhard, reddish. Crown small, densely foliaged. Leaves thick, leathery, dark green above, paler gree beneath. Sepals greenish yellow, glabrous. Corolla white, 25 mm long. Flowers on the trunk, up to 10 m high. Fruits 11.5 cm high, 17 cm in diametre, yellowish-green, subglobular, flattened at base and at apex. |
