Description Herb, c. 10 cm high. Leaves herbaceous, pale to dark purple-green above, beneath slightly paler green. Petioles, leaves, peduncles, pedicels and outside of tepals with white to red hairs, when red especially in the tepals and pedicels very obvious. Leaves not bullate, like goose-flesh. Tepals 2, yellow, outside pink-yellow. The upper one with red lines at the base inside. Stamens yellow, ± 30-33. Style splitted into 3, yellow. Ovary pale green, the very top of the wings reddish. Pedicel and peduncle very pale yellowish-reddish-white. Each inflorescence with 2 male and 1 female flower. Each flower with 1 pale green bract at its base.
Habitat On steep, dark riverbank in primary forest.
