Secondary vegetation with remnants of the original forest overhead along the seng river edge of raphia swamp. treelet leaves thick leathery dull dark green above much paler gren beneath . Yooung leaves brown-red,flowers pale red or creamywith reddish tinge o+ and o_ flowers n the same inflorescence. A bit of very sticky colourlees exudate from pith and cambial one of yooung branches. |
