| Description | Shrub, c. 3,50m high. Older branches with axillary spines. Leaves thin, pale green, with markedly dark green nervation beneath. Fruits yellow, shining, entirely enveloped by the yellow fruiting calyx. this calyx with green lobes at the apex of the fruits. Calyx peeling off in mature fruits. |
