Description Roots fibrous, leaves alternate, lamina petiolate, pubescent with rusty hairs above, glabrous below, stems glabrous, thin and brittle. Petals 3, equal, white; sepals 3, equal, pubescent, pinkish undemeath; stamens 6, equal, filaments glabrous, white, anthers yellow, dehiscence longitudinal, ovary protruding, white, pubescent; stigma white, glabrous; pedicel heavily pubescent. Occuring in scattered clumps. Flowering at 1130 hr. ( seeds ).
