| Description | Large tree of upper stratum, 38m tall, DBH; 40cm. with round bole. Outerbark smooth, grey-brown. Living bark thin, dark reddish-brown, about 7mm. thick, yellow latex from the cambial zone. wood medium hard, creamy to pale pinkish. Twigs with dark yellow latex from pith and cambial zone. Sepals pale greenish-yellow. Petals pale pink. Young fruits cigar-brown, 13 x 6cm. Disc and ovary pale green. Filaments bundles white. |
